Proposed Program

Day 1 – Arrive into Istanbul. Meet our airport representative after you clear customs. Included today is a private transfer to your centrally located hotel. Day free to relax

Day 2 – Today we have a full day walking tour included. The tour starts with pick up from your hotel (**only Old City and Taksim area with free pick up service) about 08:30 am in Sultanahmet square. You will visit: Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern (Underground Water Palace) and Roman Hippodrome. You may also visit the Harem in the palace which is optional. In the afternoon you will see: St. Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Mosque), Million Stone, Tomb of Sultan Mahmud and ancient Ottoman cemetery, Cemberlitas (Burnt Column), Grand Bazaar. The tour ends about 16:30 with free time in Grand Bazaar. You will be advised by your guide for getting back to your hotel on your own.

Day 3 – Proceed to either the airport in Istanbul on your own. Take your flight to Izmir. At Izmir airport there will be a private transfer waiting for you. Transfer to your accommodation at Kusadai/ Izmir area. Day free to relax

Day 4 – Full Day Ephesus tour. The pick-up time is 09.00 am from the hotel for full day Ephesus Ancient City and Virgin Mary´s House Tour. You will visit Ephesus which is known to be the Commercial, the Religious and the Social Center of Antiquity, and one of the Highlights of any Visit in Turkey. After the lunch, you will drive to Temple of Artemis (Diana), the site of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; House of Virgin Mary, probably where She spent recent years of Her life; Isa Bey Mosque, this impressive mosque from XIV. Century A.D. is unlike any other you will see in this country. Return to the hotel about 17.30. This is a regular group tour in English. There are about 15-20 people on the tour. The tour operates between 09.00-17.00 with pick up and drops off from your hotel. The tour includes transportation with air-conditioned buses, entrance fees, lunch and professional guidance. The tour guides speak fluent English and licensed by The Ministry of Culture and specialized about the site. The tour may include some shopping facilities for local products if time will be available.

Day 5 – Full day Pammukale tour - Departure for the tour about 08.00 which is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white colored travertine and stepped water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. It is for its resemblance to cotton piles that it is called ´Cotton Castle´ in Turkish. We stop on the way a t a 4 star hotel for lunch and swimming thermal red waters. Then Visit the travertine and the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath Return to the hotel about 18.30. (Please note that Ancient Pool is extra cost which is 26 Turkish Lira). This is a regular group tour in English. There are about 15-20 people on the tour. Day 6 – Take a Private transfer from the hotel to Izmir airport. Fly to Cappadocia (On your own expense). At the airport at Kayseri our private transfer will take to your cave hotel. Day free to Relax

Day 7 – Full day North tour of Cappadocia. Start the day visiting Dervent Valley, also known as "Imagination Valley", this is the most surreal-looking landscape. Your next stop will be Pashabagi called also the Monks Valley because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity, it´s possible to see all the stages in the formation of fairy chimneys at this spot. Proceed to Avanos (Venessa) the pottery centre of Cappadocia, this village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The river gets its name from the red clay it deposits. You can watch the potters at work using kick wheels, the technique which has remained unchanged for generations. Lunch. Continue to Göreme Open Air Museum. The world´s most important Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Here you can see the best preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of Seljuk rule. Icons with scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament above portraits of Church Fathers and saints depict the structure of the Byzantine universe. Panoramic view point Esentepe. With a spectacular view over Göreme from Esentepe see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. After the tour you will be transferred to your hotel.

 Day 8 – Take a private transfer to Kayseri airport. Board your return flight back to Doha.
